Winter Training Series is here!

The KnoxVelo Winter Training Series starts today and continues every Saturday and Sunday through February. Saturday rides will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Bluff Cycles and Sunday rides will begin at noon, alternating start locations at Pellissippi State and Provision Performance (1400 Dowell Springs Road, 37909).  Each ride is posted on the Calendar on this website, with links to route maps and cue sheets. Each ride will be 55-60 miles (3 to 3.5 hours) at "Winter Pace" (average 18 mph).  Come join us!

On November 14th, our newest sponsor - Provision Health & Performance - is hosting an event at Bearden Beer Market from 5-9 pm to launch the Provision coaching program and the Provision training team. Local cyclists Susie Isaac and Jaques Palin will also launch their campaign to race the Absa Cape Epic mountain bike stage race in South Africa in 2014.  Beer & prizes will be on tap!

KnoxVelo and SCO are hosting the Sixth Annual Oak Ridge Velo Classic on July 27-28, 2013.  We will be hosting the State Championship Road Races for juniors!  All race information can be found here:  www.oakridgeveloclassic.weebly.com

2013 Time Trial Training Series

The 4th Annual KnoxVelo time trial training series will be held on Hickory Creek Road between Watt Road and Eatons Crossroads on June 5, June 12 and June 19.  For the first two weeks, the start will be near the Fireworks Superstore.  For June 19, the start will be near the Eatons Elementary School and the course will be run in reverse.  The first rider will start at 7 pm all three weeks.
